Iron (FerronylTM)
Despite being critical to general health, vitality and wellbeing, a large number of women do not have enough iron in their body. Iron deficiency can lead to a condition known as anaemia, which over 20% of all pregnant women in Europe will suffer from at some point during their pregnancy.
Symptoms of anaemia include tiredness, fatigue, finding it difficult to concentrate, irritability, dizziness and heart palpitations. Most at risk are those with pre-existing medical conditions, young mothers (under the age of 20), those who have given birth to a previous child less than a year ago, and those expecting twins or triplets.
FerronylTM is a highly bioavailable and chelated form of iron that supports enhanced absorption and less gastrointestinal upset. It also does not block the absorption of other nutrients, which is a common problem when using the mineral in a multi-ingredient formulation.
